The Hackney breed has been around since the 18th century, when mares of Norfolk Trotters were introduced to Arabian stallions, which in no way detracted from the original quality of the local breed. The goal f the project was to produce a versatile working and trotting animal. It is unwise to buy horse or foals attracted with the pictures.
